A New Chapter For Gastro StreetStalker

Yesterday I had to pop Notting Hill for a quick business meeting and what better place to hit than Daylesford Organic on Westbourne Grove. One of my favourite areas in London. They do the most amazing juices and salads – all organic oof course! And a pizza to die for! I love the place on weekends, it’s filled with yummy Notting Hill types and a place I am totally addicted to, just sitting outside chilling with friends all afternoon, the perfect place for some serious Style Stalking! Here I also came to the decision, a very big decision to do something different with Gastro StreetStalker...

As some of you may already know I am the blogger behind Style StreetStalker.. my fashion blog, which I have to admit does hog a lot of Gastro Stalking time .. so I've been thinking how to solve this...

So I would like you, my gorgeous readers, to be the first to know that I am merging my food blog; Gastro StreetStalker with my fashion blog Style StreetStalker! A decision I have made so I can concentrate properly on my two passions in life.. yep food and fashion daarling!! I will be able to post far food than I have previously and I've already been posting some fabulous goodies.. my BBQ Porn is a must check out!!!

Food and Fashion... Although I have had a colleague shout across the office ‘OMG you’re eating an ice cream, yum, I might just vom up my malteasers and go and get one!!!’  -he was kidding of course, as it’s kind of a myth that people who work in fashion eat nothing but sugar snap peas and carrots, I myself is the number one fatty of all fatties and adore eating out as much as I love shopping.. So I have the pleasure to say…

Come and Stalk me on my fabulous food and fashion journey!

Market Heaven

Just off La Rambla, Barcelona's Marcat St Josep La Boqueria, is one of the most amazing food markets i have ever been to. Bursting with fresh fruit, vegetables, meats and fish this place is any foodies dream and if you are staying in an apartment like we were this place is the only place to shop!

Barcelona: Tapas 24

Tapas has to be one of my favourite foods, so when I hit Barcelona last week I dived into the first Tapas bar I could find and this little gem was the result. They are famous for their Foie Gras burgers and toasted sandwiches filled with melted Manchego cheese, black truffle and Iberico ham. Both heaven on a plate!

The place is small and buzzes with the true Spanish atmosphere you would expect from a Tapas bar in the heart of the city and just off the fashionable Passeig de Gracia, perfect re fuel food for a busy day of shopping!!

A Sneak Peek...

If you havent already been to this little gem in Covent Garden, you have to go! Bill's is set in the shiny new and developed St Martin's Courtyard in Covent Garden, and has the most wonderful chilled country feeling... I'm not going to reveal too much as this post is a taster of more to come! Stuck with only my iPhone I will certainly be returning to this fab restaurant/cafe to review and photograph it properly.

Merci Merci!

Where do two hungry fashionistas grab lunch in Paris?.. Merci of course! This fashion and design concept store has the most amazing lunch restaurant, perfect for grabbing a quick salad or naughty apple crumble and coffee!

On Saturday we stopped by Merci for lunch and for the most amazing salad and coffee which perfectly set us up for the hard day of concept store shopping ahead!

Be prepared to queue but believe me it's well worth it.

Chelsea Farmers Market

One of my favourite things to do on a Saturday is head to the Kings Road for the Chelsea Farmers Market, it's heaven for a hungover brunch with choices of chorizo or organic beef burgers, Moroccan flat breads, curry, and so much more yumminess!! I always do my weekly shop here of delicious farm sausages, cheeses and bread, it's such a fun market and a must visit if you're in the area on a Saturday.
