In Love With Lola Roja

This has to be one of my favourite restaurants across the river, situated in Battersea on the Northcote Road this little Spanish contemporary restaurant it an absolute treasure.

With it’s beautiful modern Spanish artwork hanging on the walls it is easy to think you could be sitting in a fashionable restaurant in the heart of Barcelona, instead of Battersea! This contemporary feel runs right through the restaurant into the food. To die for dishes include,  ‘Corn fed chicken “croquetas” with saffron aioli foam’, ‘Fresh king prawns grilled, Canary island green mojo’ and ‘Black rice with squid and saffron aioli’.

It’s so hard not to return to this restaurant every night just to work your way through the entire menu.. I’m only a quarter the way through, there goes the January diet!!!
