Naughty But Very Nice!

Feeling naughty…..!? Well my homemade chocolate slabs will certainly satisfy that mischievous streak in you and they are so easy to make!

All you need is:
2 Bars of good quality dark chocolate
2 Bars of good quality white chocolate
Soft dried figs, cut into small chunks
Nuts, selection of whatever you loved, crushed into small bits.
Black cherries, good quality.

Using two separate Pyrex bowls, put the white chocolate in one bowl and the dark in the other. Place each bowl over a pan of bowling water until beautifully melted.

Line a baking tray with either baking paper or cling film, now here comes the fun part! Pour in the melted dark chocolate first, and spread over the tray, then down the centre of the dark, pour the white chocolate. Donning your artist chef hat, get a folk and make whatever patterns you like, then sprinkle over the nuts, figs and cherries.

Allow to cool completely and set, in a cold room or fridge. Once cool and solid, with a knife cut into chuncky chunks, the more uneven the shape and size I think the better!

These chocs make amazing prezzys and gifts, who needs Hotel de Chocolat when you have homemade tasty treats!

I am totally obsessed with making these and intend to make more experimental ones.. so watch this space!
